"Waking Up in
Traffic conveys the kind of yearning and searching that made
Jackson Browne's early work so compelling."
Twelve original,
emotionally intense and imagistic songs about the ups and downs of an
honestly lived life. The instrumentation is spare- mostly
finger-picked acoustic guitar with touches of fiddle, mandolin, and
pennywhistle, leaving the songs and Brian's grainy, unadorned voice
to do the talking.
This here inaugural collection of pesky little devils was recorded and mixed over a bunch of Thursdays and Sundays by the esteemed JOSEPH LEMMER at Channel Z's specially designed "Cluttered Living Room Re-Creation Studio", Ann Arbor, MI
