The first sampler, The Sound of One Man Clapping Records, features a collection of some of the finest recordings from our roster of artists. From the folk and country melodies of Chris Buhalis, and Gary Cornelius, the old time fiddle tunes of Bruce Greene, the alternative country tinged music of Jim Roll, the folk-pop artistry of Brian Lillie, the bluesy vocals of Jo Serrapere and the jazz/folk sounds of Lisa Hunter, One Man Clapping serves up a wonderful blend of contemporary and traditional music.

At One Man Clapping, we are dedicated to bringing you the very best of new and traditional folk, country, blues, and bluegrass music. Our current list includes Brian Lillie's Waking Up in Traffic and Rowboats, Gary Cornelius' Mending Fences and Feather, Lisa Hunter's Solid Ground and Bruce Greene's Five Miles of Ellum Wood all of which distinguish themselves in the crowd of the new folk releases. The winter promised a lot of excitement with the release of Jim Roll's Ready to Hang, Chris Buhalis' Kenai Dreams, K.c. Groves' Can You Hear It? and Jo Serrapere's My Blue Heaven.

All of the One Man Clapping artists hold great respect for the true masters and innovators of our craft. Whether it is Chris Buhalis evoking the genius of Townes Van Zandt or Bruce Greene paying homage to the fiddle virtuosity of John Salyer or Henry Bandy, it is clear that these artist have studied the masters and, now, are ready to make their own musical statements, Keep an eye on this very talented group of musicians.

We are hoping that after you listen to our music there will be more than "one man(woman) clapping".
