Born in Chicago, Peter Clemens has been performing for over 20 years as a songwriter, instrumentalist and classical guitarist. His intricate yet percussive style has been compared to John Renbourn, Martin Carthy, Michael Hedges and Jorma Kaukonen. Comfort and Passion, Peter's debut recording, is a testimony to his brilliance as an acoustic guitar player. Currently living in St. Louis, Peter has opened for such varied artists as John Fahey, Martin Carthy, Kat Eggleston and Erin Corday. Peter is a well known composer, arranger and instructor who teaches classical guitar at St. Louis University.
